445 is heat resistant (slightly staining) antioxidant. It is a slightly staining & discoloring antioxidant being stable at

high temperature, is used for protection against heat and oxidative degradations in NR and synthetic rubbers

including BR, SBR, NBR, CR and EPDM covering uses in beltings, hoses, seals, gaskets and other

automotive/industrial rubber products. In combination with synergistic antioxidants it provides an extremely

effective antioxidant system for EPDM and NBR compounds for high temperature applications. Often used as

aqueous dispersions in latex compounds (SBR, Carboxylated SBR and NR) for improving resistance to heat and

embrittlement during aging with as little 0.5 phr in the compound. Typical dosages in rubber vary from 1 to 3 phr

depending on the application envisaged.

Storage and Handling

Store in a cool, dry & well-ventilated place, local exhaust recommended. Keep container closed when not in use.

No special handling precautions are necessary. Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be

followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
