BSM is delayed action Sulphenamide Accelerator with intermediate scorch safety between HBS and BSM.

BSB gives higher cure rates and increasing amount of scorch safety is achieved with the increase of

concentration in NR based compounds. When used in conjugation with RE, fast curing yet very safe systems are

obtainable in compounds containing reinforcing blacks, e.g, tyre tread, extrudable and camelback compounds.

Typical dosage in NR varies from 0.5 – 1.0 phr and in SBR from 1.0 – 1.5 phr. It can be suitably boosted with

TMT / ZDC to give fast curing yet safe processing compounds.

Storage and Handling

It is recommended to be stored in a cool and dry place, storage stability being intermediate between BSM and

HBS. It is advisable not to store for more than six months. No special handling precautions are necessary. Normal

precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and

seek medical advice.
