ACCELERATOR ZDBC

ZDBC is an Ultra Dithiocarbamate Accelerator. Its active accelerator like ZDC. Its major difference is its higher

solubility in rubber, tending to give better transparency and lower risk of blooming from vulcanisates. The

vulcanisate properties are closely similar to those of ZDC. It has highest solubility in EPDM rubbers and is a

preferred accelerator in combination with others for non-blooming EPDM compound applications which entail

extruded profiles for automobiles. Typical dosage varies from 0.25 to 1.5 phr depending upon the application

envisaged.

Storage and Handling

Stable (approx 3 years) under normal conditions of storage. No special handling precautions are necessary.

Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water

and seek medical advice.
